Foldy-Wan Makes a Move

Salutations, reader. Allow me to guide you through the most terrifying, unforgettable experience you’ll ever have: middle school. But to be exact, McQuarrie Middle School, also known as the Star Wars School. May the folds be with you, and trust absolutely no one. Me, your guide, also known as Foldy-Wan Kenobi, and who’s real name is Kai, will be sharing with you my story.

About two years ago, I was invited to join The Foldpublic. They had given me a second chance, because I was bullied a lot, due to me crying over my lack of friends. But that’s when I met Austin. Turns out, he had a lack of friends too. We had become best friends, and we still are. One day, he got accepted into The Foldpublic, and so did I. He fell in love with a girl named Bella, and they’re a couple now. She has a Padme puppet, and he has an Anakin Skyfolder puppet. How ironic. Me and Austin are currently on a mission to ambush the Galactic Foldpire and find Foldtress (Ventress).

The Ambush

By: Kai Swatts

“Attack!” A Foldtrooper said as we attacked the Galactic Foldpire in Austin’s laser tag room in his house.

A lot of the Foldpublic were wearing Clone trooper helmets, and the Foldpire were wearing Droid Costumes.

Me and Austin had our toy lightsabers we bought from Wal-Mart.

“Austin, you fight off these soldiers, and I’ll go find Foldtress!” I commanded him. He nodded and kept fighting. “And, Bella, stay out of trouble!” I also commanded.

I made my way to the electrical room in Austin’s Laser Tag Arena™(trademark pending).

The door slammed shut.

“Well, well, well. If it isn’t Mr. We Can’t Be Together Anymore. Can’t you just take me back? We could overthrow Pickletine and rule the GALAXY!” Layla, a. k.a Foldtress said.

I frowned. “Are Obi-Wan and Ventress in a relationship in The Clone Wars show? No.” I added. “It would be too weird, and I’m over you.”

“Wow,” She said, clapping. “You are very committed to your character, aren’t ya?”

She got out her double sided lightsaber and we started dueling.

The Duel

Note: This chapter contains two different types of views.

Austin’s P.O.V.

Don’t mind me for crawling up into this case file just doing my job, as a Jedi. Fighting droids, being boring. Seriously, I never get to do the cool stuff!

Kai’s P.O.V.

And me, I’m still dueling Layla.

Austin: You don’t say?

Kai: Austin, don’t be like that.

Austin: Fine.

“You’re not as bad as I thought you were!” Layla said. I knew that she was flirting with me.

“You know, I wrote a song for you,” she said.

“Me too. It goes, ‘We’re Not Ever, ever, ever, getting back together!’” I joked.

She frowned, and knocked my lightsaber on the ground.

“I didn’t want it to end this way, but it must,” she said, pointing her lightsaber at me.

Suddenly, Austin jumped out of nowhere and pushed Layla.

“Don’t touch him!” Austin yelled at her.

“Austin! You weren’t supposed to be here! You were suppose to fight off the soldiers!” I yelled.

“You always get to do the important stuff! What do I do that makes a difference?” Austin asked.

While we were bickering, Layla got away.

In Trouble

Date: March 18, 2010

So, uh, we got into, BIG trouble. We had a meeting in the science lab. Here it is below:

“Why didn’t you follow orders, Austin?” I asked him.

“Silence! All of you!” Harrison a.k.a Mace Foldu shouted.

“Austin, you were specifically told to battle the soldiers, but you didn’t!” the Ahsoka-origami person said.

“Well, what was I supposed to do? Let my friend get beaten up by some girl? I don’t think so!” Austin said.

“You do this all the time!” Qui-Gon Fold said.

“Messed up, you have. Kicked out of the Foldpublic you are!” Master Origami Yoda said.

My heart dropped. “Master! You can’t do this! He was just trying to protect me!” I yelled.

“Don’t be sorry for me. Be sorry for the Foldpublic. Because the Foldpire will rise without me,” Austin said before walking out the door and slamming it.

“And as for you, Kai, you have a 2 day suspension from the Foldpublic. Maybe that will be enough time to get you to realize what you’ve done,” Harrison said.

“Yes sir,” I said before quickly walking out.

2 Day Vacation?

By: Kai Swatts

Date: I don’t have one.

Actual Date: March 19, 2010

So, yeah, I’ve been suspended. Not from school, but from the Foldpublic. I’m such an idiot! I caused my former best friend to get fired. You realize I said ‘former’, right? Well, now I’m back at rock bottom. No friends, besides Bella.

“Hey, don’t put yourself down about it! Just think of it like a two day vacation!” Bella said, trying to comfort me.

“Two day vacation?” I asked, confused.

“Yeah, Silly! You could roller skate, play hockey, watch a movie,” she added.

So, I took this advice and watched Star Wars:The Clone Wars TV show. I also tried to roller skate for the first time, but I fell 87 times. I played hockey with my cousin, Will, but I got hit with the hockey puck. I think I’ll end the day here.

Date: Day #2, March 20, 2010

I don’t know what to do today. I’m feeling kinda blue. Was it really my fault that Austin got kicked out of the Foldpublic? Did I inadvertently do this? I’ll keep you guys updated.

Updates

By: Kai Swatts

Date: Still single, but not ready to mingle.

 Feeling: Blue

Actual Date: March 21, 2010

So, here are a few updates.

My mom’s brother is moving in with us, because he can’t afford a home right now.

No texts from Austin. Here are the texts I sent him on my Samsung Epic 4G:

Me: Austin?

Me: Look, man, I’m sorry that you got kicked out of the Foldpublic. And I’m sorry if u feel like u r useless, which you’re not. I really hope that we can be friends again.

Me: Hello?

Me: Austin, I’m sorry!

Another update, I’m thinking about protesting against the Foldpublic. I’m gonna make a move!

One last update, Austin hasn’t been showing up to school. Bella hasn’t even seen him!

Anyway, I’M GONNA MAKE A MOVE!

Things I Will Include In My Protest

By: Kai Swatts

OK, so I will list a couple of things to include in my protest:

Former or Rejected Members of The Foldpublic

Why The Foldpublic Is Unfair

Pros

Cons

Concerns

Resolutions

A Whole Lotta Convincing

By: Mr. Kai Swatts

Date: March 23, 2010

So, somehow, I convinced the Debate Team to help me with my protest. They also helped me make a script for what I will say. I also convinced Bella to join my protest. She was a bit skeptical at first, but agreed anyway.

How does this this sound:

THE FOLDPUBLIC IS UNFAIR! MASTER YODA IS IN THERE! STANDING AT THE CONCESSIONS! PLOTTING HIS OPPRESSION!

Yeah! That’ll work!

The Day

By: Kai Swatts

Date: March 25, 2010 (Protest Day)

Today is the day, my people! Today, we strike back! We protest!

We all stood outside the Science Lab.

“The Foldpublic Is unfair! Master Yoda is in there! Standing at the concessions! Plotting his oppression!” we all yelled. Even Principal Rabbski was protesting!

“Master Origami Yoda, something is going on outside!” Mace Foldu said to Origami Yoda.

Master Origami Yoda looked out the Science Lab window. I guess he saw that we were pretty sad about Austin leaving.

He walked out of the lab, and stood outside.

“Listen, listen, you must. Bad thing I did. Reconsidered I did. Back into the Foldpublic, he is. In fact, Kai will go look for him,” Master said, as he walked away.

We all stood in shock, while I went on my way to find Austin.

Master and Apprentice

By: Austin Cunningham

Date: April 8, 2010

“So, master, what is my first lesson?” I asked Pickletine.

“Avenge the sith, my boy. Kill Foldy-Wan. Avenge the Sith!” Pickletine replied.
