I’ve pushed away trying to write this post for a while. Some of it’s because of the stress of school, some of it is for lack of trying, but ultimately, it’s because I’m way too afraid to put this out there. I’ve always struggled with saying goodbye, and I was hoping that posting this could help me get some clarity.
In 2019, a young boy commented on Thorigami II. That boy was lonely, living with his grandparents. His Dad was in prison, his Mom was out of the picture. To him, the characters of the Marvel Origami Universe were people for him to project onto. Three years have passed, since that lonely boy joined commented on the story about origami Thor. Between then and today, that boy has realized that she is a woman. She’s met mentors, she’s made friends. She’s developed a love for writing, and storytelling, and guiding those who suffer the same loneliness she once did. Sure, the road has been bumpy. But Superfolder Central, and its community, were a constant in her life.
And now that girl is saying goodbye.
In my three years on the site, I’ve written 29 stories. (That’s more than Noah.) Novagami and Adam Papercuti, Adam Papercut, Origami Quicksilver, Folders of Tomorrow, Aquapleat, Folders of Tomorrow Season Two, the lost-to-time Folders of Tomorrow Season Three, Bat-Fold of the 1980s: The Long Halloween Break, Justice Pleats Dark, Kingdom Cut: A Beautiful Lie, Aquapleat and the Shredder Squad: Expel The Justice Pleats, The Crimes of Grindelfold, The Tragedy of Joe Martinet, The Rise of Pleaty Jackson: The Bytening Thief, OriGrover Underfold: Field Trip of Monsters, The Return of Thalia Plates: The Titan’s Curse Word, Annashred, The Rise and Fall of Luke Castepleat, Lore OrigOlympus, Pleaty Jackson 2: Welcome To Caesar Middle School, The Heroes of the OrigUnderworld, Chronos: The Iliad, Nico Di Angefold and Will SolCrease: Tainted Love, The Seven Champions, The Trials of Apollo: The Town of Nero, various stories found in The Lost Case Files: Fifteen Short Stories of Athens, New York, Pleaty Jackson 3: The Cicada Daze of Summer, O-Reyna-Gami, The Clone Saga, Chronos 2: The Last Odyssey, and…
Now, a word. If you click on this link, you will find that it is not attached to SFC. Despite being the culmination of my years worth of work, the story was deemed too graphic, uses too many swear words, and to violent. References to alcohol, cigarettes, and inappropriate activity are common. Despite this, I’m of the belief that this is some of my best work yet. It is an encapsulation of the the environment and people I have found myself surrounded by. This story is dingy, it’s grungey, and yet despite this I believe that there is still a lesson to be learned from it.
I have loved my time getting to know all of you. Every single one of you has a future of riches in store for you, and I mean that. Thrawn, I want you to know that no matter the pain you may feel, it truly is always darkest before the dawn. Never stop doing the right thing. CD, I want to thank you for always being a confident, for being the skeptic my eccentric self needs. OM53, I pray that you never lose that hopeful innocence you carry. You truly light up the Talkzone. Oh, and Noah? Never change, man.
I hope that Donatello goes on to do what he lovs, whatever that may be.
And Peyton, despite our disagreements, I believe that I owe most of my successes to you. Your advice on romance, careers, writing, even little things- Did you know that Peyton taught me how to shave? And he told my boyfriend not to shop lift. I hope that you continue on with your career as a writer, that you earn yourself legions upon legions of adoring fans, myself among them.
Me? I’m making an ARG man. I’m staying busy.
Thank you all so much for being there for me on this wild, wild journey. It’s been fun.
That was fun, goodbye!
At last, at long, long last! It is complete!
I don’t know what to say… It still hasn’t quite hit me, to tell the truth. I’ve already started work on my next project, which you can find here. You might wanna bookmark it, because work is starting on it VERY soon!! But, that’s not the main focus. The main focus is, IT’S DONE!! In less than two years, three kids wrote twenty six stories, and bippity bam, bippity boop, here we are.
I know what you’re thinking. That’s not Noah! That’s not the guy! Well, you’re right. I’m not Noah- Noah’s gone. And with Noah gone, I decided to type up a little short story meant to set the stage for The Spider-Fold, which is coming soon…
Read From the World of the Spider-Fold: The Clone Saga here! And be sure to leave a comment, maybe a theory or two?
Peace out, and remember, Bienvenidos a la villa de arañas españas!
Note from Hades: This post was written on August 12th.
Hi!! Hiiiii!! Hi hi…. hiiiiii!!!! Hades, here. So, I decided that to keep myself busy I’ll be doing a post on each of the four stories left on my slate:
- The Spider-Fold
- Origami Catwoman and the Kane Conspiracy
- Aquapleat and the Shredder Squad: Expel the Justice Pleats
- The Shredder Squad Versus The Council
- CHRONOS II: The Last Odyssey
So, with this story, the Spider-Fold, I’m very passionate. And I decided to choose the date of August 17th as my day to get it all done, and what’s the consequence? Well, I’m not shaving until I finish the story. And that day, August 17th WAS my first day of school. So, I would shave what’s almost a full mustache. (How? I’m not old.) BUT LO AND BEHOLD, MY FRIENDS, SCHOOL STARTS ON THE 15TH, APPARENTLY. Meaning I’m going in with whatever I got, woe is me.
So, the Spider-Fold. It’s a mix of several narratives, some I’m not at liberty to share, but I will a few, just for you guys. It’s based on Kraven’s Last Hunt, The Green Goblin’s Last Stand, and The Night Gwen Stacey Died. I’m proud to be able to weave these stories together to craft my own narrative
Oh, but Hades? You ask, What narrative ARE you trying to craft? Well, my dim witted child, The Spider-Fold details the story of Sebastian Merrick, yes, THE Sebastian Merrick, two years after the events of the PJOU. He’s down on his luck, he’s lost most of his friends, all he has is the girl of his dreams. And yet… he’s happy, because he defends Wheeler Academy as it’s one and only Spider-Fold. Whenever Kraven, the Hunter begins to target the villains Spider-Fold has helped reform (Some of which you may recognize from OM53’s Amazing Spider-Fold and SLS’s OrigVenom serieses…) Sebastian is forced not only to examine himself, but the impact he has on its other heroes and the school as a whole.
DOES THAT SOUND LIKE A BLAST, OR WHAT? And you might be wondering, if this is a new hero and a new take on the character… what “villains” would be redeemed? Oh, nothing much just…
- The Green Goblin
- The Hobgoblin
- Kraven, The Hunter
- Madame Web
- The Owl
- The Vulture
- & The Wall

Hey gamers! This is a follow up to my last post, The Site is Being Archived!… What Does That Mean? – An Update, which you can read with the click of the link. Anyways! Updates, people, updates!
First, any misconceptions? Well, a few. Certain members of the community who have been struggling to get their stories done say that me and Peyton don’t need these stories. And quite frankly… we do. To keep things lightly, most of the council is inactive with the community. The site is practically led by Peyton and I, and we’ve invested enough hours into this site that we can call it ours. And to see these projects not getting done is upsetting because all it does is imply a delay. And what’s a delay do? Take away from me and Peyton’s personal life.
I’ll say it before and I’ll say it again, me and Peyton are real people. We’ve both been through some serious stuff in our lives, and I won’t speak for Peyton but he can vouch if he chooses, having to handle not only our own workload but everyone elses… it only adds to a feeling of depression and exhaustion.
THAT’S WHY WE NEED UPDATES, PEOPLE! UPDATES! IT’S YOUR JOB AS WRITERS, EVEN COUNCIL MEMBERS, TO KEEP US IN THE KNOW!! God, I can’t stress this enough. Keep us in the know, guys, it makes our jobs so much easier.
Onto the cuts that have been made, we have cut The Strange Origin of Origami Yoda by JC, Fold of the Rings by Jawa, Multiversus by OM53, and Annashred 2: Fatherless Behavior by SF Hades. Jar Jar Pleats had not made any cuts.
Now onto some lighter news, guys.
Last month, we had 29 stories in various stages of completion, right? Well, aside from a few universes we only have one or two stories left in each universe. So, I figured we’re at a spot where we can do a full dissection.
Video Pleats has five stories that require posting. One of them, OriMario 2, is unposted. The other four are by OM53, Jar Jar, and Noah. In between then and now, one story has been released, MegaPleat. Jar Jar Pleats needs to finish Donkey Crease 2.
The PJOU has one story left, by me. In between then and now, three stories have been released, The Lost Casefiles, Pleaty Jackson 3, and O-Reyna-Gami.
The DCOU has eight stories left, We currently have two that are unreleased. The others six are by Jar Jar Pleats, SF Hades, and SF Peyton. Jar Jar Pleats needs to finish The BatPen.
The Wizarding Folds OU has two stories left, belonging to Jar Jar and Guillermo. Jar Jar Pleats needs to finish The Creasely Twins and the Ori-Maruauder’s Map.
Revisited has two stories left, both by Jawa, both outlined.
Jar Jar Pleats needs to finish Spider-Fold: The Swing of Things.
The Origami Universe has four stories finished, that’s one more than last month, and it’s by Guillermo. The remaining stories are by me and Peyton.
I’m so tired. We have got to finish this site.
So, today is a big day because not only do you guys get THE LOST CASE FILES: 15 SHORT STORIES OF ATHENS, NEW YORK, but TWO mainline stories!
First we have Pleaty Jackson 3: The Cicada Daze of Summer, the last in the trilogy. After a stressful school year, Mac Astley just wants to enjoy a summer with his friends. Unfortunately, Charles Emily has other plans…
Next we have O-Reyna-Gami, a spin-off of PJ3, where, after the opening of the Athens-Carter Institute we see Sebastian Merrick struggle to move on from his many, many, traumas.
Give these three a read!
Now I’m gonna go work on Chronos II: The Odyssey lol
Thrawn got all his stuff done, it’s his will and testament, containing outlines to The Serapis Saga Finale, Art Trek 3:, A New Generation, The Foust Chronicles: The Caesar Shadow, and MCP Saga: Part II. Gonna miss him, check it in BTFolds.
So long, partner, uh, uh, quote, I guess. From Thrawn.
People don’t think the universe be like it be, but it do -SF Thrawn
And he was so right for that.
Hey guys! It’s been about three months since we announced the archiving of the site. I decided that to keep this efficient I’ll be keeping you all in the know of how things are going.
First, I’d like to clear up some misinformation I’ve seen being spread around as well as emphazing some points that seem to have fallen on deaf ears.
One. After March 31st, NO new stories will be added to the slate. If we find something lost in our drive, because hey, all of the council has done it at some point, that’s a different story. But if you message me or Peyton about the possibility of adding a new story onto the already stressful workload we will not allow it.
Two. Contrary to popular belief, the site is not ending solely because of “The Council getting too old.” That is an oversimplification. The entire council has been college aged for the last couple of years, save for me. The general consensus being that I was a brought on as a new young face. The main reason is much more simple, there’s really no stories left to tell. We did Star Wars, we did Marvel, we did Video Games, we did Percy Jackson and we even did Harry Potter. There’s simply nothing truly worth doing with the site, and when we can be focusing on other sites and writing without the limitations of puppet fictions, this site becomes more of a detriment than anything.
Now, onto some lighter news.
When we started the archiving initiative there were, give or take, 50 stories on our list scattered across various universe, but now we have 29! If you want to get more statistical, that’s four in the VGOU, two in the PJOU, eight in the DCOU, two in the WFOU, three in Revisted, one in the MOU, one in Fold of the Rings (HOW) and seven in the OU. What led us here, you ask?
Well, you guys! You all have been hard at work trying to get your stories done and I’d like to take a special moment to appreciate OM53 for staying on the grind. However, there’s also been some major cancellations. For example, Thrawn’s departure from the community means that the four stories left on his slate are all cancelled. However, his stories’ outlines will be posted beneath the BTFolds page. While I highly reccomend you find an alternative, this can be used as a last resort if you feel there is something preventing you from writing a story within our time constraints. Note: This is the exception, not the rule.
Also, another cancellation, the Origami Universe. No, not the entire universe, but the final story, has been removed from our backlog. The story was unnecessary given the nature of the other stories being written, and it was a bit too complicated to make a reality. I know this may come as a disappoint to some of you but we truly do believe that with the way Shredder Squad 3 ends, it’s just not needed.
It’s crazy to think that both the PJOU and the VGOU have a chance of ending next month. Both serieses that I am completely invested in.
Love y’all, happy pride month, I’m out!
